Following the success of the International Conference on Data Envelopment Analysis and Its Applications to Management (ICDEAMA 2011), the International Conference on Business Performance Measurement and Management (ICBPMM 2012), and the International Conference on Competitiveness Evaluation and Conceptual Aspects (ICCECA 2013), CENTRUM Católica Graduate Business School (accredited by AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA) is pleased to announce the Global Summit on Doing Business across the Continents (GSDBC 2014) to be held from 25 to 27 of February 2014 in Lima, Peru. A set of selected papers will be reviewed for publication in JCC: The Business and Economics Research Journal or in the form of a book to be published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing, UK.

About the Global Summit on Doing Business across the Continents

It is possible to do business anywhere. What is difficult is to keep pace with the constantly changing global business landscape. Successful global business partnerships depend on the adoption of a global perspective over the business world. In this regard, it is of vital importance to count with the necessary knowledge to properly build on international trade relations, analyzing the opportunities and challenges within the world´s markets. The Global Summit will discuss how to foster a prosperous business environment among various countries worldwide. The Global Summit will emphasize topics related to the opportunities to do business in various international markets, taking into account, among others, the cultural diversity, the different types of risks involved, the importance of economic diplomacy.

The speakers are ambassadors from various countries, academicians, young researchers, practitioners, and entrepreneurs.

Review Process

The double-blind peer review process will support the selection process of research papers for their presentation in the summit and publication in the JCC: The Business and Economics Research Journal or in the form of an edited book. Technical keynote speakers will be selected from early submissions as this requires an additional evaluation according to the quality of the paper, assessed by its reviewers, the authors' CVs, and the research topic.

Full Paper Submission for Proceedings: January 15th, 2015
Early Bird Registration ($ 400 International / S/. 400 National): Before December 15, 2014

Authors Guidelines

Authors should write and format their manuscript according to the following guidelines:

• The full physical page size including all margins will be 148mm x 210mm.  
• Header: 15mm, Top of main body: 25mm, Bottom: 15mm, Left: 21mm, Right: 21mm, Footer: 0
• Use Times New Roman: 10 pts fonts for the main text and all additional parts except endnotes and index (where you should use 9pts), and chapter headings (where you should use 16pts). All text should be single-spaced.
• Indent the first line of each paragraph by 5mm.
• Use double quotation marks for all cases (including single words) except for quotes within quotes.

• For Figures, it is recommended that you use TIFF files for producing images or photographs.
• For Tables, it is recommended that you use some sort of background color like light grey for the title row or column of a table, and ensure that the text of titles is in bold.
